We worked with Sitar Rose for approximately 6 months during 2012-2013 on production of a 10 minute film about our Growing Confidence parenting work. She took the lead in organising and interviewing all the relevant staff and parents & carers who were involved in the design, development and delivery of the programmes. The final film was an exceptionally high quality piece of work and reflected her extensive experience and skills as a filmmaker. We would have no hesitation in recommending her for any other film making projects.

Sitar made a documentary film of a nursery school project run by Kuten Theatre Company, 'Sound Moves'.

She not only fulfilled the brief unobtrusively and with complete autonomy but also brought creativity and fine critical judgement to the work. She dealt with all concerned, from nursery children to grandparents, with sensitivity and parents and professionals alike were delighted with the resulting film.

I had the great pleasure of working with Sitar on a film exploring Olympic and Paralympics Values and how they relate to the lives of primary aged children in Edinburgh. Sitar was a dream to work with as she relates so well to both children and adults. From the beginning Sitar showed great care in understanding the message we wanted to create with our film and she worked with us to improve the ideas we had for format and content. Sitar was involved throughout each stage of the process of preparing the children and then explaining everything and making sure they were comfortable with the filming process. She was flexible in working around school times and venues, taking account of teachers' needs as well as ours. In the production process Sitar showed endless patience and went out of her way to accommodate our timescales.
